By default, Calendar Clarity runs entirely in your browser — there's no account and nothing to sign into. The one exception is the opt-in AI features (AI Generate and Auto-categorize): when you use them, the extension sends just your event titles — never descriptions, guests, locations, or times — to our AI service to produce suggestions. Everything else stays between you and Google.

Does it change or delete my calendar events?

Visibility is purely visual and never touches your events. Colors set Google's own event color (that's what lets them sync to your phone) — a color assignment only, never the title, time, guests, or description. Event Actions like duplicate, split, or reschedule do edit events, but only when you turn them on and only when you run them, always with a clear preview first.
